More than one issue

Friends, I had a supporter ask me the other day, how do I respond when someone says you are a one issue candidate? I say, respond with truth!

As a social justice advocate and lawyer, I care very deeply about education, economic justice, environmental justice, housing, homelessness, mass incarceration, immigration, health care, AIDS & HIV, and youth justice. And I believe very strongly in working to combat discrimination against people with disabilities, our LGBTQ+ community, American Indians, our Latino, African American, Somali, and Hmong populations.

Mega Knock for Nekima!

Join the People's Campaign as we hit the streets big time in Seward this Saturday! No experience necessary. We'll have a training before we head out, and you'll work in pairs.

Meet at Matthews Park Rec Center parking lot on 28th Ave. (2400 S. 28th St Minneapolis) at 10am. Refreshments will be provided.
